Assistant Store Manager

I have four years of experience in retail sales as well as customer service. I have worked at companies inside and outside of the action sports industry. I am ambitious and motivated to take on new challenges. My positions in sales and customer service have provided me the tools to work with a variety of customers and clients. 

I have the responsibilities of ordering new merchandise, coordinating store events, managing the store’s financials, creating employee schedules, and training employees on merchandising and selling techniques. I work on team empowerment by setting sales goals and teaching selling strategies.


I worked in the Women’s Active & Swim Department and during this time I achieved the Nordstrom All Star Award. This award is given to one employee per month and multiple department managers collaborate to make the nominations. This award was a key achievement of mine. I received the award for creating a positive environment throughout the store. I also had the opportunity to help my managers merchandise my department when new product would arrive. I received a promotion into the customer service department after receiving the Nordstrom All Star Award. This job position constantly provided a challenge to problem solve various customer issues. I also was able to train fellow employees in this leadership role. I was in charge of creating an overall storewide drive for sales and customer loyalty.
