I am a graphic designer with 3 years of professional experience. I studied journalism at the University of Nevada - Reno with a focus in journalism. I will complete certificates in Graphic Design and User Interface Design/Web Design as well as an Associates in Graphic Communication in December 2019 from Sacramento City College. 

In my freetime, I like to snowboard or hang by a body of water.

- Design, produce and finalize client advertisements and publication layouts for the Sacramento, Chico, and Reno News & Review 
- Ensure that all layouts follow format and style and are well-designed 
- Handle corrections and problems in a courteous and professional manner 
- Serve as an active, positive and responsible member of the Design Team 
- Exhibit strong communication and teamwork ability, specifically when navigating design requests from Sales Reps and Project Managers

Responsible for development, implementation and monitoring social media campaigns, overseeing the monthly newsletter production and design, helps develop marketing and communication strategies, and growing community relations.

Communications Coordinator

Participated in events across Northern California as a spokesperson/salesperson for the Stoopid Shades brand. Created content for company website to attract new clients and to establish Stoopid Shades in social media marketing. Assisted in monitoring social media followings. 

Sales Rep/Brand Ambassador

Lead hotel recreational activities such as hikes (5+ mi), ski tours (Squaw Alpine Meadows), snowshoe tours (2.5 mi), craft activities and bicycle rentals. Assisted with recommendations and directions within the greater Tahoe basin. Hosted a weekly guest orientation reviewing local activities and events. Contributed to the quarterly newsletter.
