I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Alleen, and I am a fashion designer looking for new opportunities in LA. I just recently moved back after studying and working in fashion in NY for eight years. I would love the opportunity to further and grow my career in LA.

• Worked directly under Design Director to ensure design process was met while following strict calendar deadlines
• Responsible for hand sketching all development styles per season
• Shopped local market to find trend/ silhouette/ color/ fabric inspiration for each season
• Conducted all concept research used for each season
 • Managed associate and assistant designers in all aspects of the design process
• Oversaw all fittings, and worked with tech team to achieve desired garments

Designer

• Created tech packs for development and production
• Created technical sketches, CADS, and embellishment layouts for seasonal styles
• Sourced fabric and trim while following up with vendors for pricing, lead time, and MOQS
• Maintained fabric library to support seasonal development, production sample yardage, and bulk fabric
• Responsible for lab dips, strike offs, print artwork, and layouts until final approval
• Fitted garments and sent fit comments to local and overseas factories

Associate Designer

• Created and updated tech packs for in house and overseas vendors
• Supplied construction details, spec measurements, and bill of materials
• Assisted in development of wovens, cut and sew, knitwear, and denim development
• Created design sketches for each season, embellishment layouts, and CADS for each style per season
• Fitted garments and sent fit comments to local and overseas factories
• Concept research for upcoming seasons and maintained style boards for each season

Assistant Designer

• Created tech packs and technical flats, including cut tickets for domestic styles and concept drapes for each season
• Managed all line sheets and style-master for domestic and overseas styles
• Created print packages and artwork
• Concept research for upcoming seasons and maintained style boards for each season
• Fitted garments and sent corresponding fit comments
• Assisted with fabric development and sourced trim and fabric
