I served over 12 years in the Marine Corps where I learned a lot of valuable traits that cannot be taught in a school: teamwork, communication, dependability, get the job done, perseverance, motivation, try to be prepared for the unforeseen, plans are often guidelines, and think quick. These traits have transferred well for me as a graphic designer.
