Summary

I'm a product manager with a passion for technology and unique international experience working across different teams, functions, and industries in multiple countries around the world.

Combining my knowledge on approaching customers in a sales position with the skills I learned as a category product manager, I was able to lead an international team to manage an electronics division driving the product strategy. Under my leadership, we saw both fast growth profitability and market share quotas for each of the different units in the category. Not only did I gain experience in managing international teams, I also learned key skills that make me an effective division leader.

Being originally from Guatemala, my international network is a strong one. I attended the Monterrey Institute of Technology in Mexico, where I graduated in the top 10% of my program in Engineering. Before that, I was also a project manager for web sales portal, received a business certificate for Asian markets in Shanghai, China, and studied at a design and innovation program in Silicon Valley, US.

As an adventure-seeker, I have explored the world’s highs and lows, quite literally, with experiences from jumping from a plane at 10,000 feet in the air to being submerged 60 feet underwater in a volcanic lake. Driven by a curious personality and passion for exploring, I am constantly seeking these immersive, exciting experiences in both my personal and my professional life.

With my unique professional profile, I’m able to mix my strong analytical background from engineering and business management & influencing skills from an MBA with my adventurous soul. When combined, they allow me to not only build and lead high-performance teams, but to explore and develop high customer-centric experiences and products and translate technical information into non-technical terms to guide customers, decision makers, and top executives to achieve their desired goals and construct successful strategies.
