I am a traveler, former musician, amateur photographer and a sport fanatic.
I am Italian, 23 years old, from Milano. I recently graduated from Hult Business School with a Master of Science in International Marketing and I also have a Bachelor in Business Administration.
The reason I ended up combining marketing and management, dates back to the experience I had with my band. I started the band because I love music, but the band needed someone to manage it and therefore I started to be more and more excited about the music business: I wanted to become one of those managers you saw in movies, capable of creating valuable relationships and make artists show their full potential.
Of course, we did not have a whole team behind us, so I turned myself into a one-person team, learning how to use social media to my advantage, creating visually compelling content with self-taught photoshop skills, dealing with labels, producers and venues' mangers. I did this every day, seven days a week for four years. With the knowledge I gained from this experience, I knew I could make the difference in the music industry, so I started studying management to learn what I thought I would need in order to accomplish that. Along the way, I had the chance to witness the power of advertising and the amount of knowledge needed to be a successful marketer, therefore I decided to focus my studies on marketing, ultimately leading me to my Master’s degree.
