Sr. Manager of Accounting

*	Lead and supervise the daily & monthly accounting functions through 8 employees in areas including but not limited to daily audit, AP, AR, payroll, inventory control and general ledger.
*	Manage all aspects of month end reporting, including P&L & Balance Sheet reporting, review for accuracy, communication with operations and implementation of necessary compliance
*	Work closely with IT and other departments on system upgrades and changes to ensure all needs are met
*	Oversee the annual property tax budget, biennial property tax valuations and maintain a strong relationship with third party tax advisors
*	Manage the required needs for the annual Powdr audit, including but not limited to providing financial back up, delegating tasks to the accounting team and participating in necessary interviews
*	Implement all internal controls, credit card processing and cash management
*	Liaison for accounting and finance needs on any special events, transactions and at weekly management meetings

Senior Manager of Accounting

*	Lead and supervise the daily & monthly accounting functions including but not limited to daily audit, AP, AR, payroll, inventory control and general ledger.
*	Manage all aspects of month end reporting, including P&L & Balance Sheet reporting, monthly packet creation and budget variance analysis.
*	Prepared and presented various accounting reports to top management and made suitable observations and recommendations.
*	Assisted in the set-up of sales processes in cooperation with sales, fulfillment, and other financial managers to ensure accurate reporting and sufficient controls.
*	Conducted account reconciliations review and analysis.
*	Work directly with Corporate Team and outside CPA firm on annual audit
*	Train and mentor eight fulltime employees and two regularly staffed seasonal employees in multiple accounting roles.

*	Worked closely with the POWDR corporate finance team on our Cloud based budget and reporting system, Adaptive Insights. This included testing and training managers across the resort.
*	Oversee the resort budget process with the Senior Finance Manager, this included working on labor budgeting, revenue metrics maintenance & manager trainings.
