Managed & supported a team of 7 employees. Reduced the number of machines in the shop broken or with issues by over 75%. Doubled employee retention, from 40% to 80%. Handled day-to-day shop operations and customer service inquiries. Trained incoming staff on the operation & maintenance of over 150 different machines. Ran monthly staff classes to target weak points and provide opportunities for self-improvement. Developed an equipment status system to track equipment issues, create automated reports, and automatically communicate ongoing issues to all staff.

Facilities Manager

Served as an on-site design & manufacturing consultant, mentoring people in the use of over 150 different pieces of machinery. Fixed, cleaned, & maintained shop tools, equipment, and facilities. Ran tours & special events, taught classes, created prototypes for clients.

Design & Fabrication Consultant

Worked with the design team on new product development, collaborated with 	prototyping and production teams to ensure proper execution of each piece. • Managed the design side of David Edward's sustainability initiative, including the completion of material impact assessments, transparency documentation, and Health Product Declarations for over 30 SKU's.

Furniture Designer & Sustainability Lead

Collaborated with fellow designers and managers to hone in on design intent, while staying within budgetary and manufacturing constraints. Served as the logistical overseer for all outsourced manufacturing, ensuring that each project shipment was finished, complete, and correctly packed for shipment.
