Miguel Vega

I'm passionate about branding and how it's communicated across different mediums. Graphic design was my first and only job and throughout my career I was lucky to work for the action sports and music industries, both the reason I fell in love with my profession and why I was able to acquire experience in print, digital and interactive mediums to understand and experiment with emerging visual technologies and their potential to significantly leverage the uniqueness and recognition of a brand.

From mark design to full scale stage visuals for world touring music acts, I was able to experience an unusual path for a graphic designer, that took me from a small design boutique to the music festival circuit running visual shows for 300k people.

I have launched a clothing brand called Dataset, with the sole purpose of learning and experimenting with branding and to collaborate with the music artists that inspire my work.

Through out all of this, I have discovered snowboarding and fell in love with it.
I want to earn my place in the industry and join a team to help build a snowboarding brand in innovative ways.
