Amber McElroy

I am confident that my work history and education gives me the qualifications and experience to venture into a different direction. My AA in Family and Consumer Sciences, blends my love and knowledge of fashion merchandising into the dynamics and development of people and how everyone's past experiences shape who they are; my degree in Human Development, delves further into understanding people. This deep knowledge of how social and cultural difference shape individuals, in addition to working with a variety of families and other's needs; gives me a broad understanding of how to effectively communicate with others. Although my current work experience is in the preschool setting, my responsibilities within the administrative office translates to other professional industries as well. I am responsible for leading monthly staff meetings, organize and book speakers for events and work closely with staff for a variety of personnel issues. I am part of the hiring process, updating staff manuals and procedural documents and editing all formal forms.
