Matt Muir is the Executive Vice President & Co-Founder of Havoc Television, Inc., the nation’s leading music & action sports multi-platform television network targeting millennials. Havoc is distributed nationally via TV & Video On Demand in over 55MM homes. The havoc.tv website and Havoc OTT app are distributed globally across over 70MM connected devices. Since 2003, Matt has been responsible for securing content partnerships with over 200 partner record labels, action sport brands & producers for programming use across Havoc. Matt is the head of Sales for Havoc, building Havoc's multi-platform Sales offering from the ground up. Matt oversees the sales cycle & ad revenue for over 75+ recurring, blue chip advertisers, presenting to every major US ad agency. In addition, Matt contributes heavily to all Business Development endeavors, Investment opportunities, Brand Strategy initiatives & Cable/New Media carriage deals for the network. Matt is based in L.A. but frequents New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Detroit, Austin & Chicago. Matt often Executive produces Havoc original content productions, hiring talent, clearing rights & integrating sponsors as needed. Finally, Matt co-manages all Havoc operations & staff at the Havoc corporate offices in El Segundo, CA.
Prior to Havoc Television, Matt was a top-performing Sr. Sales Executive for GO.com — Disney’s #5 ranked global web portal, which included Infoseek, Disney.com, ABC.com, ESPN.com, MrShowbiz.com, WallOfSound.com and a network of many more high-traffic websites. Matt also served as an Advertising Coordinator & Creative Contributor at Raygun Magazine & Bikini Magazine — two highly respected music, fashion, art & lifestyle print publications. Outside of work, Matt was a two-year member of the National Scholastic Surfing Team as a competitive surfer. He also was the drummer for the nationally touring rock band Slackstring (in addition to AWOL, Musket, Active Rawhemi, and Socially Distorted).
