I've been involved in the arts since childhood. I received my BFA in Illustration from the Columbus College of Art & Design and my Masters in Art from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. I worked as a muralist and custom fabrication artist for a number of years before getting involved in teaching. For the past 6 years I've been teaching college courses in Graphic Design and Illustration including Advanced Illustration, Conceptual Imagery, Typographic Hierarchy, and more. At the same time I have maintained a freelance schedule of design related projects including graphic apparel work for Tween Brands, Threadless Inc., Uprise Skateshop, and more. Additionally I maintain a studio practice for personal projects and have participated in international art residencies in Finland, Russia, and Tokyo. Lastly, I have been a skateboarder and skate/action lifestyle enthusiast since 1993.
