Every day I aim to deepen the relationship between non-profit organizations and their audience through communications, research and analysis. My experience in communications and public relations ranges from small, independent publishers to a large news media organization. I am interested values-forward companies and I am eager to gain experience in the outdoors and conservation industries. 

•	Writes email responses to listener feedback on the behalf of NPR’s newsmagazines and management
•	Evaluates trends and provides feedback for our senior news editors, journalists and senior management
•	Writes weekly business partnerships inquiry report and shares with NPR’s Manager of Business Development 
•	Edits weekly trend reports newsletter for senior level management
•	Analyzes how users interact with NPR’s Help pages and manages content for those pages
•	Leads tours of headquarters to both private and public groups
•	Developed NPR’s current podcast & program submission webpage and evaluates submissions


•	Authored a renewed foundational grant requesting $250,000 to expand and enhance NPR Arts & Culture coverage
•	Wrote the Annual Fund and Stewardship letters for major donors
•	Researched and sought out prospective individual and foundational donors by reviewing data
•	Drafted donor slide decks for NPR’s jazz and energy/environment coverage
•	Researched, updated, and cleaned donor database 
•	Edited the Spring Board of Trustee Meeting Board Book
•	Coordinated the Spring Board of Trustees Meeting with staff in other departments

Editorial Assistant

•	Drafted digital materials for two crowdfunding campaigns that raised over $120,000
•	Researched institutional grant opportunities and created prospective donor profiles 
•	Wrote donor appeals 
•	Coordinated the company holiday party in Seattle, WA
•	Evaluated manuscript submissions and collaborated with the Editor-in-Chief to edit two published books of poetry
