As a freelance marketer and creative coming off a decade of working for one of the world's leading action sports lifestyle brands, I enjoy working with brands that I admire and projects that inspire. Current and past client roster spans outdoor lifestyle (Timberland), energy (Green Mountain Power), environmental non-profit (1% for the Planet), natural home care (Seventh Generation/Unilever), start-up, and small business. With an extensive marketing background in both strategy and creative, clients value my ability to deliver on their needs while seamlessly pairing relevant consumer touchpoints with business objectives. Before working independently, I was Senior Content Manager at Burton Snowboards, where I launched Burton's first content-based lifestyle website for women, burtongirls.com. As the creative visionary and business owner, I managed a female contributor collective of pro snowboarders, DJs, celebrities, and more.
A Burton employee 2004-13, I have worked in a variety of marketing roles and credit my work in Japan as my most momentous and consequential. I also spent three years as Social Media Manager on the PR team building Burton's social media presence from the ground up on a global scale. Earlier, I worked on the brand team where I was an integral part of their women's marketing efforts, creating and implementing women's specific ad campaigns and programs.
