Brand Ambassador

I am a digital content writer and multimedia journalist with over eight years of experience in copywriting, creative writing, AP copy editing, SEO and social media marketing. His core competency as a writer is reflected in his versatility to adapt his voice, style and tonality to sync with the client/brand he's representing. He has extensive experience building websites from scratch through a host of CMS applications, including WordPress, Drupal, ExpressionEngine and SquareSpace. He is a seasoned AP copy editor with long-term newsroom experience. Additionally, he writes digital editorial content for Teton Gravity Research, an action sports media company based in Wilson, Wyoming.

Additionally, I also function as TGR’s go-to writer for web series decks, breaking-news coverage, trip reports and outdoor gear reviews.



Editor-at-Large

At REI I worked with a diverse array of travel writers and SEO specialists to build over 30 destination guides to help market REI Adventures' trips around the globe. Serving as assigning editor, I was in charge of writing contract SOWs, creative brainstorming, editing copy, building content in Wordpress and delivering feedback to writers. Additionally, I also brought original humor ideation to the Co-op Journal team and art directed/drove the production of culture content in the REI brand voice.

Travel Editor and Humor Writer

At ExpertVoice I collaborated with clients (Marmot, Deuter, TNF, Gregory, Teva) to create branded editorial content with the aim of educating retailers, driving product advocacy and boosting bottom-line sales revenue. In addition to developing engaging content for a wide array of brands, I was also responsible for presenting both creative strategy and post-production deliverables to clients directly.

At Backcountry I wrote about a huge array of brands and products, leveraging many different voices and tones to disseminate proper messaging while simultaneously driving bottom-line e-commerce sales revenue.
