Led the staffing, logistics, safety and compliance  of a warehouse consisting of four drivers, two office administrators, two assistant manager, and fifteen warehouse associates  that provides distribution to 142 stores for the Pacific Northwest division of a national furnishings retail chain. 
Managed and controlled  inventory of over 50,000 pieces worth $6.5 million with 100% accuracy.
Created a culture of safety within the warehouse by implementing company, DOT , and OSHA standards and guidelines. 
Planned and directed the scheduling of 10 inbound and 12 outbound trucks per day saving money by reducing the cost of shipping through contract negotiations with 3PL carriers .
Established daily building  checks to ensure the safety of warehouse associates and reduce workman's comp claims .
Ensured warehouse associates and drivers follow OSHA and DOT regulations and compliance with daily safety meetings and weekly audits .  The results of this is  a reduction of claims  and violations by
