Group Sales & Events Coordinator

Outgoing Aussie Traveller who has made roots in the US - I snowboard, rock climb & run cani-cross with my dogs - having worked in the Skydive, Elite Triathlon, Ski & Fun Run industry I've worn many hats and am eager to wear more. Always learning, putting in my all and treating life as one big adventure! 

Creating, planning, coordination and execution of special events; rail jams, slopestyle competitions, food drives and family fun days.
The implementation of new programs such as Corporate and School Focused programs to increase resort revenue and resort visits. 
Working with group leaders to plan and coordinate all aspects of a group visit to Hidden Valley. Reconciling group invoices and collecting all payments.
Coordination with resort management and Hidden Valley Departments on group and special event activities. 
Marketing through various means including local promotion and publicizing events, including but not limited to media advertising, social media posting, and website updates.

Perform administrative and office support activities for multiple supervisors including HR Manager, Inside Operations Manager and Group Sales Manager. 
Duties include, but not limited to fielding calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, creating spreadsheets and cash handling, refund processing, and filing. 
Extensive software skills, including various booking systems, email & internet as well as strong communication skills with both customers, other employees & management

Knowledge of drinks (coffee & otherwise) and how they are made
Regular stocking of work stations 
Maintaining sanitary and tidy work area. 
Enter food &drink orders into computerized cash register (Square system); handle cash and make change; process credit cards.

Lead Barista

Learning a broad range of activities within the company and events organisation - working as Volunteer and Registration coordinator at a number of events of various sizes (all 500+ competitors) including organising and de-briefing volunteers, ensuring correct information was given out, as well as cash and card payments on registration & merchandise sales. Coordinating with other staff & in various locations to ensure the smooth running of the event
Assisting in the running of the Social Media accounts, including; posts and advertising, as well as prompt response to comments, & messages

Event Management Intern

Ensuring a safe and consistent waterfront, where lifeguards were in constant communication of their roles and scheduling over the busy Summer period.
Assisting in events with groups to ensure that they went on tours, boats etc. in a timely manner.
Keeping level headed in busy periods to ensure guards are performing at the highest level possible - these periods could have upwards of 150 to 200 people swimming in a small area and more using equipment.
