Assistant Store Manager / Interim Store Manager

Working for Arc'teryx has provided me with an excellent outlet for my highly organized skill set, strong work ethic, and passion for exploring the wilderness. I thrive in complex operational situations where multi-tasking, foresight, and leadership are necessary to achieve goals. 

I have a very strong work ethic and will continue to push forward until the job is done accurately. By utilizing on both my skill set and my passion for the outdoors, I am able to provide excellent service and innovative ideas to my store and company. 

Skill set: Inventory management, Cegid and RetailPro POS system management, leadership, operational tool development, problem-solving, strategic planning, high organizational mindset, and customer service. 


? Manage 10-person team and store, meeting corporate sales goals of $600k a year.
? Create new operations tools as requested by Arc'teryx District Managers for gift card terminal tracking systems, point of sale system training tools, inventory coding, and sales reports.
? Work on special projects with corporate level teams regarding POS systems, inventory analysis, and reporting. 
? Contributed to Standard Operating Procedure Manual for Amer Sports.

• Camp Registrar in charge of all registrations, camper family communications, and managing camper database and registration system, ActiveNetwork. 
• Responsible for community outreach to local schools and organizations to develop and maintain yearly partnerships and rental agreements.
• Foster new collaborative projects between Camp Fire’s properties and external user organizations through research and communications.
• Manage camp scholarship program applications, scholarship funding and distribution via grants, award letters, and grant follow up information.
• Manage all office administrative functions including phone systems, faxing, supply ordering, and mail intake.

Client Services Coordinator

• Teach cultural awareness workshops to Japanese youth traveling abroad in
Kanto and Tohoku regions.
• Enhance program youths’ English language skills for homestay and high school exchange programs via dialogue and classroom simulations. 
• Aid in re-establishment of LABO programming in Northern Japan through community outreach in tsunami, earthquake, and nuclear damaged areas. 
• Manage program and travel arrangements for youth arriving to Japan from four countries.

American Cultural Representative Intern

• Obtained 40 wilderness days over the course of 3 summer seasons in 2009, 2010, and 2012.
• Led day hikes, overnight trips, and six day backpacking trips into the surrounding Absaroka-Beartooth wilderness in McLeod, Montana. 
• Worked with diverse clientele such as at-risk youth, disabled adults, trail building volunteer groups, adults, and youth of all ages. 
• Certified in Wilderness First Aid and CPR.
