I have been involved in the Powersports Industry for the past 18 years with Kawasaki and BRP, as an event lead, product specialist, demo rider and Business Manager. As a “Lead” at consumer events, I brief Regional Sales Managers, District Managers, Dealers and staff on positioning products, incentives and product specifications. During “Demo” events, I educate customers, dealers and staff on side-by-side units, motorcycles, accessories, and offer the opportunity to ride the products that I bring or that are shipped to the event. I also bring 10 years of experience in marketing, sales, customer service and business management. Submitting detailed reports both electronically and written, making suggestions for future events and develop training ideas. Currently I am employed with BRP as a Rider Education Manager, promoting rider safety, retail sales and dealer/instructor education in a 7 state territory.
For the past 18 years, I co-promote large-scale off-road events including dirt bike racing and dirt car racing. My responsibilities include dealing with large groups of racers, spectators and employees.
Some of the aspects of these events require me to oversee contracts, accounting, registration, scoring, staff placement, obtain sponsors and promote sales. As a marketing and sales tool, I am active with social media and understand the benefits of photos, videos and daily updates.
Due to my involvement in the off-road and racing community, I have been fortunate to be able to display/promote product at numerous events. These events are located throughout various locations in Virginia and are in close proximity to seven surrounding states (NC, NJ, MD, PA, TN, WV and KY). This is an example that shows my ability and commitment to promote products to build dealer and customer interest and stimulate sales. Something that will be accomplished in any territory I reside.
A company succeeds when employees know what it takes to determine the details necessary to promote and drive company goals and growth from start to finish.
