Professionally, I have spent the last 15 years working as a computer artist in various aspects of the industry, including advertising, entertainment, educational and scientific projects. I am skilled in 2-D and 3-D design, graphic design, project management, and client coordination

I am very self-motivated and have worked with teams of all sizes, from solo projects to the lead artist in charge of both on and off-site teams. I have also worked on projects of diverse scopes: from 15-second commercials for clients such as Jeep, Wendy’s and Lowe’s; to working on a 25-minute film for SkySkan, which provides content for planetariums around the world; to Adera, the #2 top free game on Windows, which shipped as a standard component with Microsoft Windows 8. I also received second place in the NJPA (The New Jersey Press Association) Better Newspaper Contest of 2001 for the Best Newspaper Promotion or House Ad, which I won for my marketing campaign to prepare our readers for our new paper design. I am well used to working to tight deadlines and customizing project components to meet the unique needs of each client.

This casino gaming company (now part of Aristocrat) designs content for video slot machine. My position as Artist/Animator is to come up with creative new game ideas, implement current games and redesign older games to keep up with industry standard and customer needs. This includes:

SkySkan Inc is a planetarium development company, where I helped to create an 8k, 60fps, 360Degree movie called Asteroids: Mission Extreme! I worked in various programs, including 3dMax, Illustrator, Photoshop, Maya, Zbrush, After Effects, and planetarium-specific software that I had to learn on the fly. My favorite scene in the movie was a scene showing the destruction of the earth at the time of the dinosaurs, and the “rebirth” of the planet. I had to coordinate modeling, lighting, texturing, incorporating other artists' work and modifying it to fit our needs, and many layers of particle and fluid effects, as well as paint effects and fur. It was extremely challenging to create a detailed scene so close to camera at that resolution.


3D Generalist

I worked at HitPoint as the lead animator, creating animations for a first-person, 360 Degree adventure/puzzle/hidden object game called Adera, which was commissioned by Microsoft for the launch of Windows 8. For this project, I was responsible for the management of the on-site and off-site teams.
I also creating animations for a number of tablet Disney games based on some well-known Disney films, and animations for a social media hidden object game.
