•	Managed and developed raw material suppliers, negotiating purchase prices reduced by 7% in 2013 for the manufacturing process sheets and cardboard boxes for a new corrugator machines and jointer boxes.

Plant Manager

Scientific Lab Glassware Manufacturing and Corrugated Carton Manufacturing Company.
•	Managed, directed and coordinated the manufacturing operations of a new small plant startup. 
•	Analyzed, production output, in the corrugated carton and glassware business units increasing output by 5% in by implementation of KPI’s 
•	Increased sales by 30% in the corrugated carton and glassware business units in one month.

Tire Manufacturing Company - Automotive Industry. 
•	Managed, directed the manufacturing operations of the plant with responsibilities of controlling a US $45.5 million budget with a yearly production capacity of approximately 1,612,300 tires. 
•	Oversee sixteen indirect reports and 455 employees in 4 rotating crew to drive process improvements across plant, as well as customer service thru Managing Daily Performance methodology.
•	Reduced overall scrap rate.  Achieving 51% improvement, generating savings of US $846,192 per year. By implementing a great example of leadership, as part of the team involved in the great success of the facility placing plant in the top tier of Michelin plants around the world.
•	Managed plant performance thru Michelin Manufacturing Way methodologies highlighting the rigor of team approach with measurable continuous improvement of KPI’s objectives at the shop floor level, exceeding key operational performance targets improving OSHA rate from 2.83 to 0.53 in 2010 to position facility in first place among North American Plants by implementing a “Perfect Safety Record Culture”. 
•	Facilitator for departmental budget development of the Plan Annual for the Operation of the Plant (Includes several departments), Supply chain, etc.
•	Directed the Supply Chain and Planning Process of the plant, achieved distribution demand of 113% of inventory levels, achieved fill rate of 115% of customer orders, and achieved production levels of 102% of plan annual of committed production.
•	Facilitated Lean Six Sigma process improvement opportunities throughout the plant and served as the plant ambassador for quality and process excellence. Achieved 119% of budgeted posts under Lean Manufacturing Standard         
•	Reduced overtime by 68% thru overtime management practices. 
•	Responsible for leading the productivity of thirteen teams of the plant for each department. Weekly meetings to discuss and approval of action plans.	   
•	Implemented best practices for the plant achieving 105% of accomplishment.
•	Weekly 5’s audit performed, achieving 100% of standards accomplished.

Operations Manager

Manufacturer of Industrial, Public Service, Protective Apparel, Corporate Apparel Uniforms.	                             
•	Increased plant efficiency in Cutting from 90 % to 113 % while lowering cost from 1.163 to 1.077 per each dollar spent by assigning best product mix to each machine based on capacity per marker yards/Gerber.
•	Cut yards increased in Cutting from 179,010 to 210,670 from 2005 to 2007 -approx. 18% increase- by assigning appropriate yard cuts to each Gerber machine used.
•	Managed fabric utilization report on weekly basis, generating savings of $ 51,819 dollars by verifying fabric code utilization compared with standard to verify discrepancies. 
•	Strategic operational initiatives implemented to increase efficiency from 68% to 83% and profitability while reducing production costs thru work in process days reduction from 14.2. To 11.2.
•	Performed production balancing increasing efficiency 125 %, reducing plant cost by 8%.
•	Developed Production control tracking report, for yards cut, marker yards increased 18% in a two-year period.
•	Managed and created fabric utilization report on weekly basis, saving a total of $ 51,819 dollars on 2007.
•	Managed approximately 800 direct labor associates and 40 indirect employees. Improved quality level to 2.0% and service of production accomplished to an average of 103% on yearly basis. Past due cuts finish 100%-with implementation of Bravo tracking system

•	Responsible for managing the Quality Assurance System. Managed 7 staff personnel in a 1000 direct labor operators’ facility.
•	Provided technical quality support to other areas related to manufacturing such as Warehouse, Engineering, etc. 
•	Developing key strategic projects to ensure continuous process improvement while obtaining quality goals through existing procedures, improving quality level from 6.8% to 2.95% 
•	Improvement of repairs reject from 5% to 2.7%
•	Responsible for the selection, training, motivation for new operators. Managed an Engineering department of approx. 24 indirect employees and approx. 500 direct labor operators. 
•	Managed New styles start up. Operation rates studied and developed thru GSD (General Sewing Data), obtaining annual savings of $105,584 dollars while improving product design. Implementation of Cell Manufacturing teams, as a result team reached 100% efficiency in 9 weeks
