I am a highly motivated, organized and dedicated individual that puts maximum effort into each task I am a part of. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from California State University, Chico, in Business Management with a minor in Managing for Sustainability, and completed my MBA at Clemson University in South Carolina as a full time student. I take great pride in my work and know there is always room to improve no matter what it is you do. I have an outgoing personality and I get along with people of different backgrounds extremely well. I always want to better myself and am excited to take on new, challenging tasks, with the goal of continually advancing my career.

I became the lead for creating sales presentations for the VP of North American External Sales when working with new or existing clients. This task included discussing what the goal for the presentation was and capturing how AMECO's solution-based products and services can provide value to the client in a way that captivates the audience.

I worked closely with the marketing services team to create the content for the ads we ran for used equipment sales and our core service offerings. I was the lead in starting to advertise our core services in our target region, which was something that we were not doing in the past.

I interacted with customers and our target audience at trade show and conference events. AMECO had not been involved with shows recently, but for 2018, I selected the events that AMECO would attend and/or exhibit at. I was able to interact with customers at the 4 shows I attended this year, with a focus on brand recognition, North American sales and explaining what AMECO provides.

Lastly, during a 5 month transition period, I acted as the core marketing and sales support representative for the company, helping my previous boss transition into a new role within the organization. Responsibilities included providing updates from the AMECO business line, helping plan events and taking on the day to day functions of the department. 

Sales and Marketing Specialist III

I worked in a hybrid business role in the construction services industry, with responsibilities in sales, marketing, analysis and strategy. AMECO is a leader when it comes to providing the necessary items for a construction site. From heavy equipment to water coolers, AMECO is able to provide you with everything you need.

An area of focus was market research to identify new client opportunities on projects in the US. Once identified, I reached out to these individuals to learn more about their specific needs and discuss how AMECO’s innovative solutions can be utilized to help ensure project success. Offerings included craft tool accounts, blast shelters, construction equipment and other job site products and services.

I was involved with creating the strategy that would allow us to be successful from a sales and a marketing standpoint on this endeavor. Working with the operations, marketing and sales teams, we put together a strategic plan to increase new business in the US. I assisted the team with changes in strategic direction, as well.

I also worked with used equipment sales globally. A core responsibility was reaching out to vendors in our targeted regions to determine which advertising platforms would provide the best ROI. The selected platforms would help generate leads for the sales reps, which would be entered and tracked in a platform I helped design and implement. I would reengage individuals who have reached out about our machines in the past, helping generate additional inquiries and sales.

I analyzed corporate marketing tactics and vendors to determine where we were getting the best returns, helping decide what vendors to use. I captured and analyzed data in various ways, including response rates, leads generated and cost per lead relating to our used equipment sales tactics. I ran new ad campaigns based on specific needs of the used equipment side of the company and captured the results.

As an executive recruiter, I worked to place finance and accounting professionals with our clients looking for high quality employees to join their companies in the general Orange County area. I focused on higher level positions on a direct hire basis, ranging from senior accountants and analysts to VP's of Finance and Senior Managers. Responsibilities included sourcing and interviewing candidates, analyzing trends in the market, selling our services to new clients, meeting with hiring managers and negotiating offers with the candidates and clients. Time management skills were essential, as everyday was different and unpredictable, as was being able to communicate with differing personalities. I was chosen as one of eight people in the West region to mentor and train a new employee and helped integrate a successful collaboration with our high-level sister company, Tatum. I was able to increase my personal production by about $70,000 my second year in the position. 

Executive Recruiter

As a sales representative / territory manager, I managed a territory that consisted of 27 accounts. I used important time management skills to ensure that my accounts got the attention and service they warranted. Selling mass wine displays, consisting of cases of wine and attractive point-of-sale materials, to each account was a key aspect of the job. This took a significant amount of creativity, knowledge of the product, understanding of the retailers hot points, and persistence. It was also necessary to analyze and understand trends and data from industry documents and determine how to capitalize on this information throughout the territory. I was selected to have a captain's role on the team, consisting of managing the cross-merchandising programs each month. Pictures of the current programs would be sent to me to be analyzed, compiled and passed on to upper management. Each month, I would compile a report and highlight what the team did well, as well as how to improve the next month.
