- Manage a team of three social media editors and three interns. 
- Direct all content across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Build content calendars daily to maximize impact with peak audience times in mind. 
- Optimize news, arts, sports and opinion content for each unique social media platform by directing the creation of graphics and videos. 
- Onboarded "Agora Pulse," a scheduling and community management platform, to optimize team workflow across editorial, public relations and advertising branches of Mustang News. 
- Break conversation-starting, sometimes controversial news stories, demanding close attention to community management. 
- Collect and interpret Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights, Twitter Analytics and Google Analytics to monitor KPIs, track the performance of strategies and pivot accordingly. 
- Engage in community management practices in order to avoid public relations emergencies and alleviate them when they occur.  
- Constantly study industry trends to keep the social media presence of Mustang News cutting edge and effective. 
- Developed an Instagram Story strategy designed to meet the college audience where they are and build reach on the platform. 
- Cover live, breaking news events to inform public’s in real time on the platforms they go to first to get news.

-Create written and visual content for all of the CIE social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Linkedin. More than doubled Instagram and LinkedIn following and grew Facebook following by more than 20 percent in my first 6 months.
-Collect and interpret the analytics of the various social media platforms.
-Plan and implement targeted, paid social media campaigns on Facebook and LinkedIn with impactful ROIs. 
- Engage in A/B testing to maximize the effectiveness of paid campaigns.
-Utilize live streaming and Instagram story feature to cover events.
-Build email lists and develop and distribute email blasts and newsletters.
-Work alongside the graphic design intern to  create fliers and posters, my role being concerting eye-catching promotion concepts and devising wording. 
-Work alongside the video intern to complete video projects, my role being conducting interviews and keeping the messaging of the video on-brand.
-Write press releases to be distributed to local and national media lists.
-Contribute website content, including, but not limited to, blog content with search engine optimiazation in mind. 
-When creating content, required to consider a wide variety of different stakeholders, including program sponsors, students, faculty, staff, etc. 
-Create and implement a "lifestyle" branding campaign to help facilitate a tribe surrounding the CIE brand. Create social media-native "lifestyle" content, as well 

Public Relations and Social Media Marketing Intern 

-Owned a project from start to finish tackling Reef’s first brand-focused micro influencer campaign. Selected and on-boarded 30 influencers utilizing the MAVRCK tool. My goal was to achieve an 8% engagement rate, 50K engagements, and a CPE of 39 cents. The campaign yielded a 10% engagement rate, 50K engagements, and a CPE of only 6 cents. 
-Pitched a consumer facing contest to the marketing department to maximize the ROI from the influencer campaign described above, as well as drive traffic to Reef.com. Along with the outline for what the contest page would look like and how it would work, pitched a social media and email marketing strategy to support the contest.

In addition to my core project... 
-Conceptualized, pitched and wrote blog stories that were eventually published on Reef.com and promoted via Reef’s social and email channels. 
-Wrote creative briefs and selected influencers for multiple product-focused campaigns. 
-Contributed to go-to-market (GTM) meetings to assist in planning Reef’s brand marketing strategy.
-Identified, pitched, contacted and sent product to mid-tier and macro-influencers to create content for various product campaigns. 
-Received professional training from Cision, a public relations tracking tool, on how to best use it in a brand setting.
-Lead meetings with sales reps from Cision’s leading competitors, Trendkite and Meltwater, to reevaluate which tool was the right fit for Reef and make a recommendation to the Manager of Public Relations. 
-Created national media lists of journalists and bloggers to correlate with upcoming product launches and brand stories.
-Drafted and edited press releases to be distributed to national media lists. 
-Identified stories on HARO based on relevance and UVPM and sent pitches to journalists and bloggers corresponding to their needs.
-Assisted the eCommerce Marketing Manager in writing subject line copy for email blasts. These emails received up to a 13% open rate and $5,000 in revenue.

Marketing Intern 

-Created and edited agency website content to enhance SEO and inform publics.
-Managed company blog. This required extensive research into various topics, including the best practices in doctor and real estate marketing.
-Managed the social media strategy for iCatch Marketing, as well as for various clients. Tasks included creating visual content on Photoshop, writing copy, scheduling posts on Hootsuite and monitoring analytics. 
-Provided Press Releases for new product launches. 
-Created an Alignable account for iCatch Marketing. 
-Implemented email marketing campaigns.
-Hired to complete freelance work months after my internship. Tasked with writing engaging, thoughtful copy for the new website, Web4Realtors. Demanded in-depth research and creativity to execute.

Marketing and Public Relations Intern 

-Created an interactive timeline dedicated to educating publics about the history of ECOSLO. 
-Contributed a video featuring interviews with historical figures and information about the organization in order to spread awareness and celebrate the 40 year anniversary of the organization.
-Provided video social media content that fulfilled the education component of ECOSLO's mission statement.
- Planned, filmed, scripted, edited and launched social media-native video content marketing campaigns, such as "Wildflower Wednesday" and "Meet the ECOSLO Docents," to engage audiences, build social following, and spread awareness.
