Senior Finance Manager, Worldwide ReCommerce

Southeast Region, Reverse Logistics, and Make on Demand; Amazon.com, Lexington, KY.  Serve in senior finance capacity providing financial operations oversight for Southeast region fulfillment centers, Amazon.com retail returns network, and Make on Demand publishing business.  Focus on cross-functional partnerships with Seattle based Capacity, Corporate Retail and Finance teams building a cohesive business structure while working with site operations leadership to maximize building throughput and VCPU and FCPU cost reductions.
• Total fixed and variable cost oversight of $215MM and $648MM, delivered results +100bps better than total network result, +280bps in Quality execution
• Assigned Inventory SME role, developed and Implemented network standard labor planning approach for $300M of variable labor associated with inventory Quality function.

Forecasting and analysis responsibility for Kindle Wholesale business with a focus on international expansion, mitigating credit risk, negotiating content revenue sharing agreements, reducing cost of device and accessory returns through enhanced analysis methods, and building robust and repeatable processes with supporting system infrastructure.
• Built weekly reporting package for device returns by retailer, improving benchmarking for accounting returns provisions and demand planning inputs.
• Built pricing model for freshlot and defective unit buyback, improving retailer negotiation for overstock and one-time returns true-up events.
• Partnered with KOR Director to forecast expected AR exposure and make credit limit recommendations to Amazon.com CFO, improving inventory allocation decisions and ensuring credit limits matched calculated risk.

Finance Manager, Kindle Offline Retail

Oversight of digital accounting processes and close for Kindle product line, ensuring accurate financial reporting, account health, and business partnership in a rapidly growing space with retail and wholesale distribution channels.
• Developed the balance sheet package and supporting appendix for Kindle product line utilized in VP and Controller reviews
