After witnessing lethargy when it comes to how incumbent banks service the 28.8 million SMBs in the United States, I set out to create Joust, a fintech product that helps entrepreneurs save time,
expenses, and hassle.  Lead all aspects of operations, customer support, business development, and customer acquisition; raised $mm from VCs and launching in the US in early 2019.

worked with global consultancy firms, hedge funds, venture capital, private equity, Fortune 500, and startups on their strategies related to market entry, digital transformation, investment, and product
market fit.

initiatives in the US, UK, Europe, and Latin America. Drove investment initiatives in fintech firms in the US. and UK, such as Atom Bank, Coinbase, and Personal Capital. Led acquisition of innovative
companies like Simple, Holvi, and Openpay. Incubated new business ventures including Azlo, Covault, Denizen, Muno, and Trust-u. Built partnerships with Airbnb, AliPay, Apple, Google, and Uber.

Led business development initiatives for innovative mobile banking startup as company's first
Business Development Executive, reporting directly to the CEO/CFO and co-founders.  Generated
growth through large-scale customer acquisition partnerships with key brands.  Led strategic
planning and provided thought leadership and company representation at external events.

Director of Business Development

Built partnerships with key platforms, merchants, and manufacturers that maximized PayPal
availability, functionality, and consumer use on a large scale in-store, in-app, and online. Enabled
broad range of options for origination and completion of transactions through variety of funding
sources.  Focused on the customer journey and integrated traditional point of sale and web
technology processing environments for a smoother experience.

Oversaw delivery of entertainment experiences and services on all mobile devices and SmartTV.
Managed product launch from end-to-end, from conceptual phase to development to implementation, including the Samsung flagship mobile product. Collaborated with multiple internal
partners in Brand, Marketing, Finance, and Legal, plus external film, book, TV, and games studios.

Created global content and publishing strategy for Nokia devices in entertainment, games, social
location, and News & Sport categories. Built and managed strategic relationships with global media
companies, content aggregators, and startups in Silicon Valley.
