Designer, Calvin Klein Performance

Singaporean designer with experiences in apparel design and brand management within Fast fashion E-commerce, High street retailer and Designer Ready-to-wear. Being exposed and educated in design and branding, I’m constantly designing through striking the balance between creativity and commercial viability.

A self driven go-getter with high versatility in learning and adapting to different cultures and cities. An explorer who enjoy snapping images and curating playlist as other forms of creative output.


Lead Designer of Calvin Klein Performance - Men's Asia & Europe market 

MLMR is a streetwear sub-line launched under international high street
leader - JACK & JONES, catering specifically to the Chinese market.
/ Successfully grown the woven categories of brand, with sales growth
of developed collections - handling trend research, designing, techpacking,
sample fitting and follow ups.
/ Strategically pinpointed weak categories, offering designs that work
better for market through reviewing sales performances, analysing
upcoming trends and improving garment qualities.
/ Collaboratively working with suppliers on fabric/trim research and
offers, ensuring latest techniques in market are applied.
/ Established smooth flow throughout sampling till production, working
closely with buying team and garment technicians to creatively solve
any fitting and production issues.
/ Managing and assigning task to design assistant, providing guidance on
research presentation and tech-packing

MENSWEAR DESIGNER 

24:01 is a high street menswear in-house label of E-commerce
ZALORA.com, catering specifically to the SEA market across
9 countries. An extremely fast paced environment developing 12
collections a year.

DESIGN & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
/ Sole designer taking charge of brand’s collection direction, fabrication
sourcing, designing, technical stylesheets, print development, fitting and
sampling - an average of 50 SKU per collection.
/ Worked with Regional Buyers & Creative Director to strategically
plan & design product range, tailored to different markets in SEA.
/ Designed for ZALORA Mens’ Sport range and successfully launched
ZALIA HOMME, a contemporary Muslim festive collection with a
touch of western tailoring. Sell through of collection set at 95% within
first month of launch.

BRAND MANAGEMENT
/ Worked with senior buyer on brand’s overall image, being part of the
re-branding of in-house label 24:01.
/ Managing all contents of Instagram account @2401_official,
strategically generating daily visuals and written contents.
/ Liaising with regional marketing team on campaigns and shooting
concepts to ensure collections are well presented.
/ Other adhoc task - E.g SKUs selection for sales or promotional
campaigns, styling of looks for regional runway shows etc

MENSWEAR DESIGNER

SINGAPORE based award winning designer label.
Conceptual, contemporary ready-to-wear, both women & menswear.
/ Research, silhouette & print design for seasonal collections via
creative directions set by head designer.
/ Making adjustment to new season range plan through analysing sales
and feedback from customers.
/ Design through creative exploration of shapes - draping and pattern
making process.
/ Developing seasonal digital prints, liaising with print manufacturer for
test and final print.
/ Assisted in photoshooting with art direction and digital imaging input.
/ Supported team with in-store visual merchandising set-up & ideas.
/ Supported business with marketing effort, contributing ideas for
EDMs and marketing content.
Key Highlights: Collaborated with OCAC and showcased at Vogue’s
Fashion Night Out Thailand (Singapore’s representative).
Manages the project of Swarovski Elements Collaboration (FW13).
