• Led the outbound E-commerce, retail and replenishment operation for our 700,000 sqft. distribution center in a union environment.
• Daily volume, 7,000+ cases, totaling $500,000 or more a day.
• Reduce average day to close per wave from 4 days to 2.5 days, by driving new processes to reduce shortages and creating new standard operating procedures.
• Led production standards by using Manhattan systems and labor management issues for our team by using Kronos.

• Led in the execution of hiring over 350 associates for brand new state of the art DC in Mebane, North Carolina.
• Led multiple projects to ensure the DC was ready to go on opening day, such as helped Asset Protection put together risk control manuals, helped develop our standard operating procedure book, and developed mock job training guides.
• Taught and train 70 associate the outbound-inbound operations.
• Appointed as the senior leadership role when they were off or out of the building.
• Took teams to the store levels during peak times, to help with back room, inventory, and replenishing out of stock items.
• Captain for CMN fundraisers for the distribution center. Lead multiple fundraiser events that contributed to $4,000 profit, in the first 5 month of distribution center operations.
• Trained and developed new area managers in receiving, shipping and lift driving operations, for our new distribution center.

Floor Area Manager

• Led the dry RSR and shipping teams to top 5 ranking out of 40 other distribution centers.
• Led multiple teams inside the warehouse, such as meat/produce shipping, dry shipping, freezer/dairy deli receiving, and dry receiving.
• Led the receiving team from a ranking of 35th to 20th within 12 months of assuming role of Area Manager. Daily volume 100,000+ cases.
• Drove a battier exchange program to reduce indirect for all GLS functions, which led the DC to be in the top 2 overall for indirect reports for the South east business unit. Indirect reduced 2.00% from 15.00% to 13.00% on a daily basis.
• Leader in Wal-Marts "Develop to Lead" mentorship program. Met once a month with associates to cover guidance with resume building, leadership counseling and career goals.
• Co-Planned and coordinated an re-racking project, consisting of several associates, in the freezer to reduce the number of pallet break downs; Overall saved 24-30 hours a week in man power for building operations.
• Co-Planned and coordinated a dairy deli profiling project placing over 1,200 grocery items into a commodity range, reducing consolidation hours in the receiving operation, which helped the shipping and store operations by placing like-items together.

• Assumed leadership role responsibilities when manger position was vacant for the perishable weekend receiving team, which consisted of 24 associates.
• Led and executed a vendor profiling project on perishable side as an associate; resulting in saving 8 hours a night in consolidation, which saved 32 man hours a week for receiving operations.
• Contributed to a one-touch program for dry grocery side; resulting in easier stack ability for the shipping order fillers, better customer service for our store due to every item being based on the stores lay out.
• Participated in numerous voluntary programs for local schools and businesses such as renovating two high schools football locker rooms and concession stands, also voluntary work for a local food banks.
