Matched orders to bulks and reported any discrepancies.  Manually entered orders as needed.  Worked with sales representatives and the customer directly regarding order updates.
• Monitored sales order cycle from start to finish to ensure successful and complete on-time shipment of orders.  Actively worked to resolve any shortages.  Kept in continual communication with the sales representative and shipping department manager in the event of any issues.

Allocations and Key Accounts Manager

GXS BizManager/Mapper:
• In support of JDE implementation, updated numerous EDI X12 850, 855, 870, 856, 810, and 846 maps to match legacy system outputs.
• Learned JDE basics including Sales Order Inquiry, Style Master, Customer Master, and other Order to Invoice functions.

IBM Sterling B2B Integrator:
• Utilizing JMS with ActiveMQ, mailboxes, routing rules, and dynamic BP's built via code list parameters, supported EDI Production system and addressed any issues.  Updated maps for break-fixes.
• Completed EDI development to support customer booking requests in XML format.  Mentored peer developers.
• Performed up-front system analysis, requirements documentation, and technical design for prioritized projects.

EDI Specialist

IBM Sterling B2B Integrator:
• Worked with customers, vendors, third-party logistics providers, and Compliance team members to independently design and implement programmatic solutions to countless requests, which included not only EDI but also non-EDI development.  EDI work included X12 850, 860, 855, 856, 810, 846, 852, 812, 820, 824, 864, 997 and EDIFACT ORDERS, ORDRSP, SLSRPT, IFTMIN, IFTMCS, DESADV, RECADV, INVOIC, REMADV, GENRAL.  Non-EDI work included various data translations and file transfers.  Developed business processes from scratch to map inbound and outbound SAP IDOC's as well as fully customized file formats (flat file, XML, etc.).  Assisted in end to end testing within SAP from order creation, all the way through shipping and invoicing.
• Updated Luxottica Optical Rx process and became familiar with HIPAA requirements and encryption.
• Resolved Production Support issues, correcting break-fixes and making required system enhancements.

EDI Developer/Supervisor

Gentran:
• Independently designed and implemented EDI maps for X12 transaction sets 266, 811, 820, 824, and 997 in support of insurance carrier service requests.

Mainframe:
• Developed solutions in Natural/ADABAS, COBOL, and JCL to satisfy service requests, address Production issues, or support new client implementations.  Worked with the user to understand and clarify requests and issues.  Independently wrote requirements documents and maintained application documentation.  Created brand new or modified existing reports and screens to meet the requirements.

Other:
• Asked by my supervisor to perform migration packet reviews and be responsible to ensure that all standards were met.  Was actively involved in reviewing and approving peer modifications and also conducting code walkthroughs for final signoff.
• Worked in both Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005 to modify jobs, query/update/store table entries, perform application testing, debug Production issues, and complete setup for new client implementations.
• Received High Flier Award for commitment to excellence.

• Completed various development requests using COBOL/CICS, Natural/ADABAS, and JCL.  Participated in all phases of the system development life cycle, including Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions.  Wrote business requirements, functional documentation detailing screen and report design, as well as programming specifications.

Mainframe:
• Developed using Natural/ADABAS and JCL.  Created detailed analysis documents and estimates for future work.

Other:
• Received Heroes of the Heart award for customer service and dedication.

Mainframe:
• Trained on Natural/ADABAS and Natural Construct.  Participated in key projects using newfound skills and developed using COBOL batch/CICS and JCL as well.

Object-oriented:
• Asked by my director to join a pioneering client-server development effort.  Participated in all areas of the project, from front-end to back-end.  Performed object-oriented analysis and design using the Fusion methodology.  Utilized both Visual Works (with ENVY) and Enfin.  Designed graphical user interfaces in Smalltalk.  Developed portions of the Smalltalk middleware conversion process.

Lotus Notes:
• Supported the development of an order-entry application using Lotus Notes.  Responsibilities included designing and coding forms and views, as well as developing a system test plan.

Other:
• Received a Quarterly Award for my dedication over several projects to one particular system.
• Received two "Making a Difference" awards in recognition of my project work.
