Presently working as Design Manager in Outshiny India Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore. Designing
Backpacks, Duffles, Slings & Messnger.
Total work experience of 5 years of Designing cum Merchandising, having handled buyers like
Arctic Fox, Tommy Hilfiger, HRX, Roadster, Fila, Lucky Brand, Etam Sas, Woolsworth, Pepe
Jeans, Nova, Blackberry, Lee and Numero Uno.
A merchandising project planner with expertise in spearheading service operations, ensuring
delivery of projects within deadlines and cost parameters. Stringent believer in effective
communication skills and teamwork.

Explore new, innovative concepts and ideas to refresh product line plan and add a USP over competitors. Deliver seasonal concepts and products encompassing and reflecting brand image and direction, to industry, for Core Range and Retail product lines.
Work as part of a team to produce products to strict timelines, with regular intermediate deadlines along the critical path.
 Visit trade fairs like Canton Fair, China, exhibitions and retail customers for research purposes and technical support.
Execute trend and market research to focus product offering seasonally. Focus on silhouette, materials, and graphic trends.
 Work closely with the Materials team to understand new material innovations, and to brief new materials development
 Developed fit standards across multiple age ranges and accessories styles/constructions to streamline fit of product line.
Analyse sales data and trend information to colour up the entire line each season using the colour palette. Colour up each accessory.
Use CAD & Photoshop’s a tool to aid the development of new products, including;
product visualization, component integration. Produce detailed technical drawings to aid product specifications for manufacturing and maintain Backpack Flats and CADs for internal use.
Sketch and maintain Backpack Flats and CADs for internal use.
Attend fittings and prototype reviews to provide aesthetic feedback/direction during
sampling process
Test all new concepts to ensure they are fit for purpose and meet all expectations
 Attend costing review meetings with Business Management, and product team to
ensure that all products hit our target
 BOM (Bill of Material) Creation
 Contribution to significant category growth in both volume and revenue.
 Design instructional literature, illustrations and supporting product information.
Design and produce various types of campaign, marketing collateral newsletters, magazine ads, brochures, posters, website design, social media graphics.


Designing of products from concepts using tools like Adobe Photoshop & Corel Draw to final execution.
Developing collections for various clients based on forecasts and client’s concept
direction.
Showcasing developments and presentations for buyers.
Designing Laptop bag like backpack, briefcase & business case for men, women as well
as unisex for domestic purpose as well as export to buyers. Duffle bags/ Overnighters & Slings, ladies bag like tote, clutch, sling etc. for domestic as well as export.
Planning an entire range in coordination with the marketing team keeping in mind.
Coordinating with the sampling team starting from the initial stage to the final product
development phase.
 Sourcing of new fabrics, hardware and other accessories keeping in mind the current trend and the market.
Print and Embroidery developments using both process for new collections including doing new screen print, plastisol, transfer, HD, Rubberized and applique techniques.
To work as a part of costing team to reduce or bring down the price within targeted
frame by upgrading the design, material manipulation or alteration of technicalities.
Handled every information related to the product and to educate each and every
section to take all the necessary measures to work towards achieving quality and cost effective product.
