Amanda Nilo

I currently work as an eCommerce Merchandiser for Fox Racing. I work directly with marketing, planning, wholesale, finance, and product teams. I am responsible for executing marketing strategies as well as make suggestions for marketing based on sales and how our consumer is navigating the site. I also upload all product each season, categorize, apply filter attributes, and merchandiser to create the best possible user experience to ultimately drive sales.

I’ve worked in the retail buying field for 6 years for TJX Companies. I started with the company as a temp and worked my way up to Senior Merchandise Assistant (most retailers consider this an Assistant Buyer role). I also spent a year as an Allocation Analyst with TJX.
I ended my TJX career by working directly with the buying team and our vendors. I analyzed sales data to make recommendations to the buying team, shop competitors, manage the OTB, attended vendor appointments, managed purchase orders and deadlines, and was in constant communication with everyone from Planning to Product Development to Transportation.
