Athlete (Sales Associate)

Hired aa a supplement to the current Buyer Liaison in support of the product merchandiser and brand team to coordinating activities and helping with buy meeting preparation and product line presentations. The opportunity also included but was not limited to facilitating processes necessary to create, complete and maintain purchase orders from start to end.
• Spearheaded process Improvements - I was a champion of improving stale processes that NPG was plagued with. Trying to kaizen ways that would save the company time and money and the buyer liaison role more efficient.
• Tenacity - Attacked each day with efficiency and accuracy, while managing multiple seasonal line plans. Within the first two months I cleared the backlog of work.
• Managed Product Line information - Successfully brought to market over 200 SKUs and 450 color choices from sketch to consumer. Supervised all core product information for a total of 6 Seasons including but not limited to color names and NRFs, price/costing maintenances, PO creation, database and spreadsheet management, manufacturer communication, and visual aids for Buy meeting preparation.

Buyer Liaison

As a Merchandise Specialist I identified product information errors while auditing, made necessary updates to promote item integrity, preformed administrative duties to support my immediate team, solution oriented and focused on accuracy, while committing to outstanding customer service.  Maintained great relationships with supply chain partners to promote teamwork and morale.
• Subject Matter Expert - Acquired the necessary knowledge to become an EPM (Nordstrom Main product database) SME.
• Trainer - Directed new and existing specialists on processes imperative to the success of item set up.
• Productivity - Increased CC and SKU production by 300%, increased departmental CCs past the one million mark in 2017.
• Promotion - Promoted to Buyer Liaison in the fall of 2017.

Merchandise Specialist

Previously exceling in an internship role at Waste Management, I was hired to fill a temporary vacancy. As a community ambassador I managed outreach campaigns, and community driven events.  I had the opportunity to manage programs performed by that summers outreach interns. On numerous occasions I presented to multi-family dwellings and businesses on recycling techniques and conversion opportunities.
• Managed Existing accounts - Maintained and enhanced customer relationships and satisfaction through community involvement. Including but not limited to: attending public events, City Council/Board meetings and other events, conducting community educational and informational outreach.
• Supervised Summer Interns team of 12 - Educated Interns out in the field, shared previous experience as a WM intern.
• Job Skills - Attained essential skills that have helped my progression in the work force but not limited to teamwork, ethical behavior, time management, adaptability, communication skills.
• Leaving the environment better than we found it - Instructed the community on proper disposal procedures relative to perspective jurisdictions during community events and outreach opportunities.
