Zach was born and raised in Dallas, TX. After graduating from Pepperdine University School of Law, Zach joined the United States Marine Corps as a Judge Advocate, or Military Lawyer. He served as a Criminal Defense Counsel for the busiest trial shop in the Department of Defense, and won countless victories for his clients in and out of the courtroom. He was recognized for his service to his clients by receiving the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal at the end of his tour.
After leaving the Marine Corps, Zach quickly established himself as a tenacious personal injury trial attorney. He attended Trial Lawyer’s College in Dubois, Wyoming, where he trained with other like-minded trial attorneys for three weeks. Zach’s fighting Marine Corps spirit can be seen at the courthouse and in the countless jury trials that he has tried to verdict. Above all, he is passionate in representing anyone that has been hurt or taken advantage of by those with power.

Disability Attorney -Provided legal services to four Marine Corps bases with a client population of 1800 servicemembers per year. -Assisted wounded, ill and injured Marines and Sailors throughout all phases of the Disability Evaluation System under Title 10, United States Code Sections 1211 and 1214. -Analyzed medical documentation in order to provide opinions to servicemembers and the Physical Evaluation Board regarding fitness for duty determinations. Criminal Defense Counsel -First-chair litigation experience including all aspects of jury selection, motions practice, and trial strategy. -First-chair experience utilizing expert consultants and expert witnesses. -Assigned to represent Marines and Sailors in felony and misdemeanor level court-martial proceedings; successfully negotiated pre-trial to resolve over 75 cases with no criminal conviction. -Advocated on behalf of Marines and Sailors in administrative employment hearings, winning retention or positive discharge recommendations in over 30 cases. -Won full acquittals in larceny, assault, and sexual assault felony and misdemeanor level jury trials. -Represented clients charged with assimilated Title 18, United States Code offenses, including conspiracy, firearms violations, and Internet crimes.
