Josh grew up surfing the beach breaks of Southern California. It taught him to work with what nature offered, and he carried that resourcefulness and creativity into his career.
He earned a degree in Visual Communications, with a minor in Literature and Writing, from California State University, San Marcos, and also completed a two-semester study abroad program concentrating on Photojournalism, in Brisbane, Australia. After graduating, he spent the next 14 years focusing on building brands for various publications and nonprofits as a Graphic Designer, Art Director, Communications Manager, Multimedia Producer, and Managing Editor.
He enjoys refining lifestyle brands so they speak creatively to all five senses. He believes that inviting people to pursue a desirable lifestyle helps traditional advertising evolve to become more personalized, organic, and effective. He excels at positioning brands as trusted leaders within various lifestyles. Josh is eager to bring his creative leadership back to the lifestyle that helped shaped who he is.
