Roles and responsibilities:-
? Conducting market study to identify new products with respect to styling, fits and construction.
? Prototype and Salesman sample development as per the Season Range Architecture through concerned Vendors.
? Advising the production feasibility of new styles and making them cost effectively by costing w.r.t (fabric, trims and washes)
? Development of Product Packs using PLM for the seasonal range.
? Vendor management.
? Travel to vendor and factory locations to resolve production issues
? Negotiate with factories on major/Critical orders/Production issues.
? Preparing the Cost architecture and Seasonal Buy Plan.
? Reviewing performance indicators, such as Sell Through.
? Product improvement in order to maximize customer engagement & revenues.
Brands - Wills Sport, John Players and John Players Denims
Products - Men - Tops & Bottoms.
Projects Undertaken
? Standardize the Washes for Men's Bottom & Top on the basis of fabric Study and MRP.
? Standardization of styles (Gold Seal) which ensures shorter lead time and consistency in Quality.
? Introduced stretchable interlining for denims.
? Introduced Special Finishes to Men's Bottom (Antibacterial, Anticool, Soladel, Water repellant).
