I’m an exceedingly motivated, inventive and personable individual who’s seeking a job in the professional design world. I'm confident I can meet any future challenge, while still building a culture of teamwork, hard work ethic, and positive relationships. 

•	Designed two sets of graphics that were professionally printed onto the bottom of skateboards 

•	Had multiple meetings with the two brand managers to assure their ideas were successfully translated through my designs 

•	Effectively created two sequential series, which tied together through thematic relationships, as well as overall visual appearances. 


Department Head 
•	As the electives department head, I was in charge of managing a team of seven experienced teachers. Managing would consist of monthly classroom observations, one-on-one meetings related to successes/areas of growth, and reporting directly to the Assistant Director and Head of School 

•	I overlooked all training through hosting new-teacher-training workshops, as well as creating detailed file-checks on every electives course that was taught 

•	I organized and hosted annual art shows that highlighted student work (common work would consist of renting/building gallery walls, curating artwork, and connecting with parents and community members)

•	I took away developed leadership skills that were focused around hard work, problem solving, and organization

- Studio Art Teacher 

•	I taught eight classes per day that ranged in subjects from realistic drawing, painting, graphic design, Photoshop, cement work, and silk-screening. 

•	With a flexible curriculum, all projects were generated from scratch to assure they met student needs and state requirements 

•	As the sole art teacher, this job demanded detail-oriented, fast paced, and original content creation 
	



Graphic Design/Studio Art Teacher - Electives Department Head

•	Faculty at The Art Center College of Design hand selected one student within the undergraduate program to teach an open based, critical class, in collaboration with a graduate student. I was chosen based up my strive for leadership within a group setting, my strong communication skills, and extensive knowledge within my study 

•	I taught technical demonstrations, gave thorough art direction, attended organized meetings with students outside of class, and led and curated class/individual critiques and exhibitions 

•	This position demanded strong leadership skills and patient, communication capabilities 

•	I left with gained experience dealing with multiple needs and demands from a group of individuals 



Assistant Teacher

Hand painted a ten-foot by one hundred foot mural inside the clients day care business. 

The client was provided numerous sketches of different versions of the mural before the project began. 

This project had a strict deadline, which helped me advance my skills in time management. 

The client was very particular in what they wanted, as far as images, color and style; this helped me broaden my range of formal techniques and adaptability
