At Turner/WarnerMedia, I provided operational support for the digital presence and live HDS/
HLS web streams of Turner brands Adult Swim, CNN, Cartoon
Network, TBS, TNT, TruTV, Turner Sports, NBA League Pass,
Bleacher Report, ensuring uptime and quick problem resolution
& additionally supporting DAM workflows for digital asset media.
I have helped teach our team of engineers follow software
methodologies to help create internal software Docker applications
the brands with incident resolution, incident escalation, system
administration, event monitoring.
As a civilian, I worked for
four ISP's; Mindspring, Air2Web, GNAX and PEER 1 - the former
ISP for YouTube, Wordpress, Stack Overflow, and Square Space.
During this time, I worked on the Internet from end-to-end in various
roles including in broadband support, network engineering, disaster
recovery, system administration and software development.
Before that, I was in Telecom in the
US Army, working in Information Management and Information
Security during the 90's dot-com boom.
I have been involved in many processes such as PCI
compliance, software patching, AGILE development, gathering
business SCRUM requirements, and delivering finished projects.
I supported various OS's from Windows 3.1 to Windows 2008,
RHEL, CentOS, Solaris 8.
I am accustomed to change. While at PEER 1, I transitioned from
System Administrator II to Software developer with AngularJS,
principles. During that time I gained experience developing RESTful
Independently, I've released an iPhone app, Windows
software, and have been developing for the web since 1996. I
have experience with RDBMS (Postgres, MySQL administration
with limited Oracle experience) and NoSQL CouchDB and Mongo
experience in NodeJS & Meteor. I am familiar with Bootstrap and
Semantic UI CSS frameworks for front end development.
