Justin Giles
Marketing / Sales Leader
Summary
I have over 15 years of professional experience in Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Management. I have a proven track record of achieving goals and leading teams to success.
I worked at BTO Sports, a world wide leader in after market powersports parts and accessories (2005-2015). I started my professional career here in 2005 and help build the company into one of the leaders in eCommerce sales. I spent 10 years with this great organization, starting as a customer service rep and quickly moving into a senior sales rep (2005-2008). From 2008-2015 I managed a team of 8-12 associates, we achieved yearly and quarterly sales goals regularly. Many of my duties oversaw the daily sales flow, watching seasonal trends and reporting. I was also part of the Marketing Team at BTO Sports, where I helped with social media and email campaigns... along with helping all activations of local and regional teams.
I decided it was time for a change so I packed up my bags and headed to Texas for a chance to team up with one of the biggest and most elite companies in the powersports industry... Tucker Powersports.
When I arrived at Tucker Powersports I took on the role of eCommerce Coordinator where I learned all the processes and systems that Tucker uses on a daily basis. Here I helped the e-Com team create sales opportunities for all of the eCommerce dealers.
After about a year of this I realized I needed to grow and move on, so with the opening of the Helmet and Apparel Specialist role in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area, I took the opportunity to transition to an out side sales rep. This role was fast paced and every day was a new challenge. I was the key contact for all of the 35+ apparel brands that Tucker Powersports offers. I would regularly call on the accounts in my territory (250+ accounts) to train them on the features and benefits of our products and brands. I was able to grow my territory by 40% YOY, with this success came a new opportunity for growth.
I was offered an Account Manager position with the eCommerce / National Accounts team at Tucker Powersports. Once I accepted the promotion I was quickly using all the tools I learned with in my previous stint with this team. I managed the single biggest account and largest territory (44 Million Plus). My goal was to grow the territory by 4.5% which I was able to achieve. This role was a different challenge as this required many hours working in excel to read data and forecast sales. I was able to create many unique sales opportunities for my accounts by creating additional margin.
At the beginning of this year (2019), I was asked if I would take on a new challenge. Tucker was creating a new role and asked me to lead and manage it. This role would be the Field Marketing Manager, I was asked to do this because of my outgoing personality and willingness to take on a new challenge. This role had never existed at Tucker, so it was up to me to create the process and implementation of all field events. Currently I have strategically planed and implemented over 10 field campaigns this year, all being a large success. My team and I also manage our Social Media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn). We also create most of the content that you see. Most of the photos I have taken and edited, along with all written content. My video producer has done an amazing job of creating epic videos that our fans love to engage with.
