Assistant Store Manager, Operations

• Analyzing the store's performance against goals and developing plans to improve underachieving areas.
• People management, including interviewing, hiring, coaching, assessing, supervising, developing, promoting, training and disciplining employees. Employee scheduling/payroll.
• Oversee/manage sales model and operational execution. Store P&L management, including financial analysis and budgets.

Recruiting a Salon Manager, Assistant Managers, Prestige Sales Manager, Merchandise Service Coordinator, Licensed Benefit Brow, Licensed Stylists, and Licensed Estheticians, Clinique and Lacome. To build the core business of ULTA Beauty. Driving sales in all these areas and to continue beating sales projections in all areas of the store. Prestige sales are the core of our business.
• Since opening the store, my team and I have been beating projected sales by 20% year to date. Making sure team is always being productive with all customer service and operational tasks. Successfully building Loyalty and Credit sign up goals as a store. Beating projected goals by 15%.
• Running the store operationally sound through all programs. Return to Vendor, Damages, Truck shipments, Missing Box Report, LM Tagging, Loss Prevention, Planograms and Kronos scheduling.
• Building Salon and Skin business from the ground up. Working with the team to train them on how to convert a customer into their chair. The importance of rebooking guest.

General Manager

• In charge of Operations of eight stores. One of them being a $60 million a year store in overseeing the Operations and Human Resources areas of the store. Front End, Receiving, Facilities, Inventory Control, and Return to Vendor.
• Scheduling of all departments to meet customer service demands and be within payroll budgets week and month to date. Assign employees to specific duties to best meet the needs of the store and staff retention.
• Customer Service, trouble shooting and problem solving, morale of employees, holiday celebrations.
• Identify staff vacancies, recruitment, interview job candidates, hiring, disciplinary notices, employee separations, making staffing decisions and promotions.
• Managed staff of 300 sales associates, 30 managers and 10 assistant managers.
• Training and development of managers and associates throughout the district in all areas of Operations.
• Address customer inquiries and resolved complaints.
• Conducted new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
• Grew revenue by $250,000 in the first year by spearheading development of the Profit Recovery program in the Return to Vendor area of the store.
