Front Office Secretary

I have been employed at a local private school for the past 10 years. During this time my duties and responsibilities have increased. I started out a an instructional aide to support student learning. I currently work in the school office as the secretary interacting with students, parents and vendors.
Prior to working at the school I worked at Ervin Bell Advertising as an Account Executive. I handled the marketing and advertising activities for four different divisions of The First American Corporation. I oversaw production of marketing and advertising materials, managed client trade shows and coordinated print and online media planing and placements.
Before Ervin Bell I worked at Hoag Hospital in the Corporate Communications Department. I coordinate the marketing activities related the foundation events, Hoag Heart Institute's Heart Month, drive-thru flu shot clinics, Nurses' Week and more. I also wrote and produced the biweekly employee newsletter and managed the production of a variety of marketing and patient information materials.

Interface daily with students, parents and visitors. Handle student needs.
Answer phones. Responsible for tracking student immunizations and reporting to the county health department. Coordinate standardized testing for students in grades 1-8. Accelerated Reader Administrator. Order suplies.
