I started my career with Deloitte Haskins and Sells as an article clerk. Post qualification as an Associate Chartered Accountant, I worked with ICICI Bank, KPMG, IBS Software, CME India. I have over 17 years of extensive audit, risk consulting and industry experience (including CA Articleship). My skillsets are quite diversified and includes Controllership, FP&A, Finance Transformation, PMO/Transition Management, Procurement & Facilities Management, Audits / SOX / IFC, Enterprise Risk Management, SOPs/Process documentation. • Execution & Delivery:
(1) Manage wing-to-wing integration for various processes (finance, tax, sourcing, legal) for Legacy Alstom, Meridium, LM
Wind, PACE Team, FP&A (GRC, GGO, Healthcare)
(2) Manage indirect sourcing detangling project along with India & Asia Sourcing Leaders; received award & recognition from Senior Sourcing Leader - GO Asia (a) Provided support in integrating Legacy Alstom operations across various
biz/sites/locations into GE, (b) worked alongside sourcing team towards achieving 30% productivity by implementing buy desk
operations
(3) Project manage the FP&A CoE to achieve operational excellence and generate productivity of ~$0.5MM through robust
processes and strong operating rigor; FP&A CoE scaled up to ~112 heads with enhanced scope of work & increased biz
partnership
• Biz Development & Migration/Transitions:
Successful execution of many multi-region complex transitions across time zones through strong governance & project
management (W2W support: planning/TG1 to execution/go-live/TG5 using toll-gate framework
(1) GGO: Completed transition of base cost work with new catchers in 2-3 months across 13 regions; initial biz savings of
$1.5MM & 3 FTEs released post go-live. Received Q2 Executive Award for project
(2) GRC: Achieved $0.2MM biz savings in moving FP&A work from GRC China to India; most pitchers left before transition
completion
(3) DET: Phase I resulted in biz savings of $1.0MM; Phase II has given 1.1 FTE productivity so far (4 biz FTEs released)

Develop and standardize SOPs for all key business areas within the ambit of Business Finance, ensure process simplification
and improvements; re-design the processes by adopting industry specific best practice
• Translate the prevailing MIS framework into an IPO ready environment by liaising with Corporate MIS Team, Business Finance,
FP&A, Corporate Finance, SBUs & Internal IT Team

CME India Technology and Support Services Pvt Ltd - Director - Finance (Jan 2016 to Dec 2016)
• Accurate and Timely financial reporting: Set up & implement finance & accounts process for CME India; Working closely with CME Inc teams / BDO UK and BDO India outsourcing team to build a process and implement effectively
• Act as a primary liaison for India budgeting process; establish the budgets by working closely with corporate budgeting team;
ensure ongoing budget vs actual analysis and update the Group Management in Chicago and the Technology Head of the Centre
• Ensure Cost optimization and savings; re-model the procurement strategy to ensure significant savings in the form of (1) duty
benefits for STPI, (2) elimination of distributor margins by procuring directly from OEMs
• Procurement: Manage vendor selection and finalization process for various indirect material & services (office administration
like housekeeping, electrical maintenance, snack vending machine, chafing dish, office inauguration events, catering,
transportation, HR Compliance Services, F&A Services); ensure savings through effective negotiation with vendors
• Logistics management: Constant co-ordination with vendors, freight forwarders, Customs House Agent, BDO to obtain import
clearance documents like Import Certificate, Procurement Certificate, clear customs, get delivery of consignment, ensure
bonding procedure is completed on timely basis; Also created an asset tagging label / template which is affixed to all bonded
assets along with office admin team
• Payroll Savings: Payroll processing errors identified which helped in recovery of excess salary paid to employees; ensure
timely PF compliances after the Company registered for PF in Jan 2016
• Billing: Ensure monthly billing and send invoice to CME Inc; streamline the billing process and improvise the timelines to ensure that books are closed on the last day of the month
• Treasury Management: Provide timely cash forecasts to Group Treasury team for initiating fund transfers into EEFC account
and conversion into INR account; timely monthly billing to ensure advances received are off-set against export invoices raised;
file softex forms with STPI; comply with RBI guidelines by updating the bank on the off-set of FIRC with acknowledged softex
forms for exports
• Banking Solutions: Co-ordinate with bank staff to simplify the process of interface with banks and BDO teams for making
payments, especially forex payments. Streamline the mandatory set of documents required for processing forex payments
• Ensure compliance with all requisite filings; legal (labour laws, etc), compliance (board meetings, STPI, RBI, Annual Returns)
and tax filings (including VAT, Excise Returns, Service Tax, PF, PT, Corporate Tax, etc); co-ordinate with Group Legal, Group
Compliance Officer, Accounting / Tax Service Partner
• Manage all audits and special engagements; co-ordinate with internal teams (Corporate teams in various departments, Global Assurance Team), consultants and auditors for statutory audit, tax audit, internal audit, Transfer Pricing, Internal
Financial Controls, fixed assets verification and tagging process

along with Global Teams and accounting service provider on vendor requisitioning, payment processing, payroll processing,

(A)	Financial Planning and Analysis:
• Prepare annual operating plans by working closely with business leader, operations managers and the US Pole Office; drive
and flag key operational and financial metrics - monthly / quarterly
• Monthly cost review and interface with accounting team to understand the variances and assumptions for accrual, charge
from pre-paid expenses, etc; Conduct monthly CWIP review and provide inputs for capitalization; handle variances in capitalization of P&E due to the differences in Indian GAAP and US GAAP

• Prepare Risk Registers for Infrastructure Company by following the ERM framework set up by KPMG
• Conduct Strategic Performance Review of the Internal Audit Department for India's largest microfinance Company;
assessment was done across three parameters - people, process and positioning of the IA department within the Company
