Responsibilities
Manage a team of 13 with a business volume of $150M in building direct import business by
managing supplier performance and development, cost mitigation and negotiation, product
innovation and quality, category alignment and business operation excellence.
Develop strategic vendor matrix in relation to diversified country of origin.
Build vendor assessment protocol collaboratively with internal cross-functional teams to improve
vendor performance.
Formulate sourcing strategy and implement change and processes to increase business and team
performance
Create and facilitate business relationship with multiple cross-functional teams in driving business
collaboration and alignment.
Rationalize supply base through supplier base reduction in alignment to company's strategy
Participate Business Review Meeting with vendors representing sourcing and provide functional
input.
Identify missing opportunities for direct import business and navigate supplier development and potential.
Develop talent and create growth opportunities for associates. Manage associate performance
development and facilitate teamwork throughout the organization.
Perform other sourcing operation management responsibilities as required.
