Instructional Designer

With a Masters in Writing from Johns Hopkins University and a film and media production background, I have gained experience and knowledge that has allowed me to succeed as a training specialist, e-learning specialist, LMS specialist and currently as an instruction designer. I have taught all ranges of education from middle school to college. Because of my varied background in e-learning, education, and media, I approach technology and learning from many diverse views. I believe that technology should not just be a form of substitution for learning but help us redefine the way we learn with the tools that technology has given us.

* Developing and assembling digital learning objects and other content in support of online course products from inception through release.
* Working with the Content Directors, to recommend learning activities and online pedagogy that is consistent with learning science principles and the capabilities of the online learning environment in which the content will be delivered.
