I graduated from Montana State University with a degree in business marketing in the spring of 2019. While in college I started a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to female engagement in the outdoor industry and community along with a team of three other women. As the current president of the board of directors for Backcountry Squatters, I have learned to be flexible, proactive, and pay attention to the smallest details as they have a big impact on the outcome of each project. Through a dedicated community of determined women, Backcountry Squatters is now represented at eight universities across the nation.
After graduating in the spring of 2019, I spent the summer commercial fishing in Bristol Bay for the Sockeye Salmon run, and coaching alpine ski racing at the Winter Park Competition Center. I have also worked with several small companies to create marketing plans identifying a target market, running all social media platforms, and running Google Ads campaigns to drive web traffic and consumer engagement.
