Hi, my name is Skylar, welcome to my highlight reel: I am passionate, motivated, and a creative leader inspired by projects that help our earth. I am majoring in Fashion Business Management at The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, specializing in Product Development and minoring in Ethics and Sustainability, graduating May 2020. Working for Aspen Ski & Board, I experienced all aspects of the retail environment - working the sales floor, creating displays, e-commerce, budgets, buying and product development. When I started realizing how much our choices are affecting the planet I felt called to do something and so I created Happy Earth Habits. It is my Instagram Blog, where I share ways to live a more low waste lifestyle and educate my community on the affects products have on this planet. I had to do something to help protect the places I love so much (nature). I also work as a freelance graphic designer getting hands on experience with conscious businesses. Helping small businesses create brand identity elements and campaign creative assets. As a keyholder at SoulCycle, I have learned how important building community is and how important intention is behind a brand.
