Part Time Tour Coordinator

My name is Dakota Gartner and I have been working in the music industry for a majority of my life. Over the past 10 years I have focused on event production and development. I am constantly striving to create new possibilities and am willing to work hard to achieve the goals I set for myself.

I am always looking for new challenges, mentors, and inspiration from the world around me. I hope to work with you to create the entertainment industry of the future. 

•   Building of offers- Connecting with regional offices on offer notes and tracking status of offers internally.
•   Gathering avails from regional offices. Placing holds with venues. Helping to determine date viability.
•   Compiling and distributing national ticket counts both internally and externally.
•   Organizing and coordinating artist agreements with talent buyer and legal department, and Artist representatives

•	Manage all production and logistics for Emo Nite LA at the Echoplex.
•	Advance all details for the events with 15+ artists and venue, and production team.
•	Work closely with event venue, vendors and sponsors to make sure that all event production needs are met.

Production Manager

•   Worked with Goldenvoice artist relations department as a liaison and production lead.
•   Assisted with development of backstage artist compound based on festival blue print.
•   Coordinated with multiple departments to build necessary elements within strict deadlines.
•   Managed backstage artist compound insuring artists and their teams we're taken care of.
•   Assisted with VIP/artist logistics and developed strong relationships with artist teams becoming a trusted contact.

Artist Relations

Site Operations / Hospitality Mgmt (Laguna Nigel, CA) Oct 2014- June 2019
•   Advanced and coordinated festival hospitality for 25+ artists per show.
•   Facilitated necessary site set up and tear down for over 50 festivals, over five years to include: ensuring optimal
sponsor/vendor placement, extensive signage deployment, asset distribution, and overall site maintenance.

•   Created and launched Kevin Lyman / 4fini Inc.'s music educational start-up The Entertainment Institute (TEI).
•   Managed a team of 8 on the Vans Warped Tour to produce seminars on all 48 festival dates for up to 100 students.
•   Acted as the main contact for artists and industry professionals that participated in activities.
•   Ensured that classes were on time and artists had necessary assets to complete seminar.
•   Curated educational content through interviews and filming of artists and industry professionals.

Artist Relations Manager

(Pasadena, CA) August 2012-November 2016
•   Assisted with marketing and social media for the Vans Warped Tour and Rockstar Mayhem Fest.
•   Acted as the main contact for 4fini's involvement in educational activities.
•   Acted as the intern supervisor managing up to 10 interns for 6-8 months per year.
•   Booked speaking engagements for Kevin Lyman at colleges and conferences across the country.
