Simon Torres

I'm Simon, an experienced Art Director with a tremendous love for bold ideas and graphic design, a fondness for illustration, and an uncontrollable obsession for typography and waves.

I was fortunate enough to graduate from the Institute of Design of Caracas (Venezuela) and Otis College of Art and Design (Los Angeles) in Graphic Design and Advertising, which opened the doors for me to work in the Advertising industry in both general and multicultural markets.

I have worked with traditional and modern digital spaces and have great understanding and experience with the range of channels through which I communicate visual design. From conceptualizing and executing creative 360° campaigns for multiple channels, including broadcast, outdoor, print, digital, and social advertising, to integrated activations, to branding design.

I am enthusiastic about passion projects, which is why I have embarked on various adventures such as directing music videos, creating a surf podcast, and founding altruistic projects with the intention of contributing my grain of sand. In my double life, I am a practitioner of practical spirituality, a surfing competitor, and a typographic artist.

I am a collaborative and agile team player with an insatiable hunger to keep learning and growing and I am certain that I would make a valuable asset to your team.
