Senior Designer I Cut & Sew Apparel & Accessories 

Enthusiastic and driven womenswear designer with a comprehensive knowledge of conceptualization and construction across all categories. Profound ability to design customer-right product at an array of price points. Constantly inspired by my surroundings and always looking to push emerging trends, the latest textile innovations, and sustainable initiatives. In my free time, you can find me hiking, climbing, skiing, and practicing yoga.

Created seasonal concepts, color palettes, prints, and original designs across RTW, activewear, athleisure, and knitwear categories; presentied to and collaborated directly with Brand CEO & Founder


Designer

-Created seasonal concepts, color palettes, prints, and original designs for RTW Collection across all categories; presented and collaborated directly with Chief Creative Officer
-Partnered with Merchandising team to establish brand appropriate, trend driven, & cost effective product; ensured margins were met or exceeded and SKU plans were adhered to
-Selected and developed custom fabrications; established material and trim order for showroom samples
-Responsible for lab-dip, print strike-off, and hand loom approval process throughout development and production stages
-Prepared CADs, technical packages, and initial drapes in order to communicate original designs to in-house and overseas Pattern Makers and Sewers
-Actively participated in all fittings; teamed with Pattern Makers and Technical Designers to ensure fit, construction, and design intent were executed to the highest standards
-Worked closely with Product Development and Production teams in order to maintain all calendar deadlines 
-Partnered with Chief Creative Officer in direction of seasonal photo shoots and styling
-Managed and mentored Assistant Designers and team of interns; facilitated treatment, embellishment, and 
custom trim development


Women's RTW Designer

-Created original designs across all categories for monthly deliveries of over 70 SKUs; solely responsible for producing CADs, building and maintaining line sheets, fabric reports, and technical packages
-Responsible for fitting and communicating all technical design comments to overseas partners; developed grading rules, sizing guide, “how to measure” model, and block body patterns
-Led conceptual development and design direction of accessory and activewear licensing partners; pushing new and innovative product while maintaining brand identity
-Developed exclusive print artwork and graphics; prepared all artwork for development and production purposes
-Initiated seasonal internship program; managed robust team of interns


Designer - All Categories

-Responsible for the original design and execution of woven blouses, dresses, jackets, outerwear, pants, and skirts for all private label brands including 424 FIFTH, Lord & Taylor, Saks Fifth Ave, Saks Off 5th; reported to Design Director
-Prepared seasonal trend reports through in-depth research, runway analysis, and competitive shopping; presented reports to VP of Design
-Partnered with technical design team to achieve high quality fit standards through tech pack development and fittings
-Managed trim sourcing and development; met with vendors and selected trims for all woven styles; communicated to vendors on all development and bulk approvals
