I have over 30 years experience in key areas of business development and integrated Marketing Communications in competitive African markets. As Director of Public Relations, Events & Promotions at Globacom, I was part of strategic  decisions and activations leading to phenomenal growth and acquisition of millions of subscribers across Nigeria, Ghana and Benin Republic. I played active roles in building and protecting the reputation of Globacom and its Chairman, Dr. Mike Adenuga Jr. I also worked at African Newspapers of Nigeria Plc for eight years, rising to the post of Editor, Tribune on Saturday. I'm an international businessman, coordinating my group's operations in Africa and North America. I'm a Fellow of World Press Institute, USA, Poynter Institute, USA, Reuters Foundation, UK, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria and Nigerian Institute of Public Relations.  I hold a Masters Degree in Managerial Psychology from University of Ibadan. I also have a Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Business Strategy from Emeritus Institute of Management in collaboration with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA & Columbia Business School, also in USA. I'm about completing  a programme at University of California, Haas School of Business, Berkeley, USA on Application of Artificial Intelligence to Business Strategies.

PR: Created a unique Public Relations plan to facilitate emergence of Globacom as most reported telecommunications company in Nigeria in print media (had a 17-month break between August 2017 and December 2020).  For instance, in 2013, Globacom had 4485 mentions in newspapers in Nigeria (photos, stories, features), performing better than nearest competitor by 50%.
? PR: Orchestrated positive media coverage and deepened relationship with key media stakeholders in Nigeria, Ghana and Benin Republic.
? DIGITAL PR: Supervised effective communication of company's programmes and activities, using social media platforms for social listening and conveyance of important messages. Leveraged international newswire services to drive maximum mileage for Glo. A post in PR newswire on Glo's participation in Africa CEO Form in March 2019 had an audience view of 115.3 million. The story was picked by global platforms like Yahoo News. Leadership of Globacom was also validated by Meltwater, a social media monitoring and engagement software. In its report covering April 1 to April 30, 2019, it rated Glo as having highest total international reach of 38% among four major telecom operators in Nigeria.
? Tracked success of marketing campaigns and vetted reports of performance. Also led content creation processes.
? PR: Supervised execution and leveraging of a pan-Nigeria online talent competition, "Glo in 60 seconds". It reinforced perception of brand as an enabler while also projecting it as a lively and youth friendly company.
? PR: Managed effective leveraging of company's special activities in media such as Glo CAF Awards since 2005 in Nigeria, Ghana and Togo, World Press Conference in Paris in 2005 on Glo-CAF Player of the  Year Award, launch of Glo network in Benin Republic in 2008 and Ghana in 2012, launch of new strapline Rule Your World in 2007 and Unlimited in 2013, key sponsorships such as X-Factor in 2013, Glo Naija Sings from 2010 to 2011, launch of Glo's 4G network in 2016, Total brand immersion and exposure during visit of Glo promo winners to Old Trafford, Manchester etc. These resulted in an advert equivalency value in excess of $10 million.
? PROMOTIONS: Led or played prominent part in activating the following promotions: Glo Text 4 Million Promo (Nigeria), Manchester United Promo (Nigeria) and Recharge to Stardom Promo (Nigeria). First Text 4 Million promo in 2009 made over N3 billion ($20 million).
? SPONSORSHIPS: Played a leading role in negotiation of renewed sponsorship of Glo Premier League in 2013 in Nigeria, renewed Nigerian National teams' sponsorship in 2011, sponsorship of Ghana's national team, Glo Naija Sings on DSTV, Big Friday Show on MTV Base etc., leading to substantial brand affinity.
? Joined Globacom November, 2003 as Manager PR and promoted to Head, PR in April, 2004.
