MY ROLES AND RESPONSIBLITIES AT R K B Metal:
? To achieve daily production target by means of proper production planning for the man, machines, material and process management skill for achieving our company targets interms of PQCDSM.
? Communication with customers regarding NPD and Production operations.
? New Product Development plan and follow ups.
? Support to make CAM Programming and Manual part Programming.
? Preparation Advanced Product Quality Plan APQP.
? Studying Process Data Sheet PDS and RFQ preparation.
? Production line balancing, Lean layout installation, Assembly and Subassembly Processes monitoring.
? Reading customer 2D, 3D drawings and explain to team.
? Tooling plan, Gauges, Jigs & Fixtures plan, Vendor development.
? Manpower management, Assembly and Subassembly Processes monitoring.
? Preparation of Standard Operating Procedure SOPs.
? Ensure proper Co-ordination with other support functions like PPC, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality & Maintenance for maximized productivity with best quality.
? Ensure the effective engagement of the work force towards the productivity improvement programs like Kaizen and suggestion schemes which involved training of the operators and juniors.
? Co-ordinate with the HR for the various training sessions for the operators and supervisors to enhance the requisite skill sets and compliance to the Job Instructions, Control plans and Process Check sheets.
? Co-ordinate with the Quality Dept. to ensure the quality level of the products and processes thru' continuous improvement methodologies and in-built quality systems. Monitoring the daily rejections within the targets.
? Analyses of customer complaints, as a member of cross functional team CFT, and problem solving like through FMEA and SPC monitoring.
? Working with the quality helps to prepare and modifying of control plans, work instructions, SOPs and checklist.
? Co-ordinate with the quality team and implement various Poka-Yoke / error proofing gauges.
? Involved in the implementation and cycle time reduction activities.
? Facilitated numerous Root Cause Failure Analysis Investigations in regard to Safety, Process and Equipment failures.
? Given training to juniors, supervisors, operator like safety precautions, measuring instruments using, part programming, work instruction and drawing study.
? Tool life monitoring and Tool life improvement activities.
? Kanban system monitoring and SMED, Kiazen project handling.
? Prepare ISO reports like New Product Development Plan, Daily production plan, weekly production report, production plan, production plan v/s actual report, machine and manpower utilization report, OJT, Work in process and consumable stock detail report managing entire shop floor.
? Rejection control and monitoring and reduction activities.
? Handling and monitoring production, NPD, quality, Maintenance, design, cam, store, purchase like overall machine shop activities.
? Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) implementation.
? Overall Equipment Effectiveness OEE monitoring, controling and improve.
? Support to APQP, PPAP documentations.
? Prepare ISO documentations.
? Support for techno commercial comparison and selection of machine, fixtures, gauges and Special new tools.
? Daily work management meeting attend and gave Production, NPD status to management.
? Quality and Production improvement projects handling.
? Tool Room Processes.
