Research trends of upcoming styles & worked closely with our Design Director for fabrics, trims, embellishments and specs for all deliverables.  Transform hand sketches into Illustrator flats and colored CADs using Adobe Photoshop.  Create tech packs, BOMs, style numbers & spec sheets for design and production using PLM.  Daily communications and supervision of all our overseas vendors from China, Vietnam, Korea, Hong Kong and India for pattern developments and overseeing productions of all Softwovens and Day dresses styles for our team.  Source trims, hardware, fabrics and worked with local and international factories & vendors.  Work with Graphic Design Team on CAD prints & Fabric R&D for fabrications.  Work with Production Costing department for all our target costs and any costing issues.  Closely work with Tech Designers for measurements and specs of all our design styles.  Create line sheets, attended design and costing meetings and line presentations

Senior Associate Designer - Softwovens & Day Dresses

Supervised all 21 samplemakers to make sure we met garment deadlines & model fittings.  Created cut tickets for new patterns and ready bundles for sewing, prepare line sheets for Senior Designer's design meetings and garments for production fittings.   Assisted in photo shoots and model fittings with the Creative Director and designers.  Ordered sample yardages, pleating requests, trim orders, and do fabric & trim overdyes.  Draping, create mock-ups, overdyes and CADs.
Created all design cards in WebPDM and manage sampling needs.   Communicated and work with all patternmakers and tech designers.  Managed all EPP process, do all layout of pattern pieces for cutting and worked closely with Marking & Grading department for estimate markers.  Worked with Graphic Design team to complete markers & artworks for all EPP styles.  Give engineered placement approvals and adjustment notes for bulk production from Protos.  Created initial design cards and release all Softwovens styles for estimate markers.  Worked with cross-functional teams to pass all design styles and be responsible for any disclaimer tags needed per garment to be sent to our New York showroom and styles to be used for costing and production.
